Viareggio turns pink with the Giro d’Italia. Wednesday, May 21 the champions will depart from the Belvedere delle maschere in Viareggio in the splendid Liberty-style setting of the seafront avenue.

In the days leading up to the event, Viareggio will welcome you with its equipped or natural beaches and a high-level food and wine offer.

It will also be possible to visit various points of interest in the city such as the Palazzo delle Muse, Villa Argentina, the Maritime Museum, the contemporary modern art gallery, the Carnival citadel, Villa Puccini in Viareggio, the Puccini House Museum in Torre del Lago, the Paolina Bonaparte Museum Villa, Villa Borbone and the important nautical center of Viareggio.

The passage of the Giro d’Italia in Viareggio represents one of the most important moments of sport that the city will experience in 2025, but it is not the only one.

On Sunday, May 4, the Carnival Citadel the beach and the seafront avenue will be the stage for the 27th edition of the Granfondo della Versilia.

On August 15, the Firenze Viareggio will start, the historic and traditional cycling race for under 24s that every year brings together amateur cyclists from around the world.

In September, the Italian youth sailing championships in doubles will be held at the nautical club.
In October, the third edition of FIF 4x4, the international off-road fair, will return.
In October, it will be the turn of the XVII gathering of historic sails.

These are events that interest the best national and international athletes from the various represented disciplines.
