The Ciuffreda Museum, unique in its kind, houses a rich collection of musical instruments mainly of ethnic origin. The atelier in which the painter Alfredo Catarsini worked for over fifty years has been rearranged in the north tower of the villa. The atelier can be visited upon reservation. The Maritime Museum is something magical, upon entering you understand how much love is dedicated to the sea and its peculiarities, to the lives lived and lost above and below its liquid surface. The museum is full of historical artefacts relating to the sea and has the list of all the gold medals of long navigation of Viareggio and Versilia. Men who worked hard and many died for the love of the sea, of the stormy and dangerous life. The collection of tools for the construction and maintenance of ancient ships is very interesting. The side dedicated to the marine fauna of the Versilia coast is beautiful.
